JR AND CORNETTE COMMENT ON SHANE MEETING WITH UFC
Jim Ross had the following to say in his blog about Shane meeting with UFC officials: "Speaking of MMA, apparently their message boards are 'going crazy' about the alleged meetings with former wrestling personnel meeting with UFC officials in the past week or so. I don't know the nature of these alleged meetings nor is it any of my business but the knee jerk reactions of MMA message board people because these folks have backgrounds in pro wrestling indicates that there are some ignorant, insecure people hiding behind screen names on these boards. People with promotional experience, experience in selling tickets and PPV's, opening new markets, promoting live events, utilizing existing business contacts, etc can potentially prove to be invaluable." I listened to the podcast and to summarize Cornette's words on the matter - he said he didn't know that it'd be a bad move for Shane to go to UFC and work with them and that he'd probably do good there, but that rightly or wrongly Dana White would in theory run screaming from having a connection to the synonymous family in professional wrestling, obviously referring to the McMahons. SHANE REPORTEDLY HAS MEETING WITH UFC ON FUTURE PROJECTS
Current WWE executive Shane McMahon reportedly had a meeting with UFC executives, including UFC president Dana White, reports the Wrestling Observer. McMahon announced his departure from WWE last month and will depart the company on January 1, 2010. McMahon did not disclose his future projects at the time he announced his resignation, but speculation was that he would be entering the MMA industry. Dana White did not comment on the meeting with McMahon during yesterday's UFC 105 event. Source: PWTorch.com

SHANE WITH FLOYD SOUL AND THE WOLF
Irish rock band 'Floyd Soul and the Wolf' put out the following press release on their MySpace: World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler and executive Shane McMahon has branded Floyd Soul And The Wolf as ‘The greatest Irish rock band of all time’. The wrestler met the Irish rock band in Newark Airport when the band was returning from Nashville where they were recording their debut album. ‘Shane O Mac’ as he is also known, turns out to be a huge fan of the band’s music and the meeting was documented on the band’s video footage. Floyd Soul And The Wolf, also huge fans of WWE are said to be ‘mightily honoured”, and say that Shane will be the first to get a copy of the new album. As Floyd Soul quipped, “We’re thinking of asking Shane to be our manager. The music of Mr. McMahon hits and he is pissed! McMahon stood in the aisle and distracted Shawn Michaels while Shane McMahon snuck in from behind and tossed Shawn Michaels over the top rope to eliminate him. Shane danced around the ring before Michaels came back in, Triple H intercepted and grabbed him for the Pedigree but Shawn escaped and hit Triple H with a superkick before going after the McMahons and chasing Shane backstage. REPORT ON SHANE'S WORTH
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Shane McMahon recently cashed in a sum of around $50 million from WWE. This happened several months back, and additionally, Shane reportedly owns about $30 million worth of stock in WWE, which gives him about a 2.8% stake in the company. Source: PWMania.com

Vince says this is not a Handicap Match, it’s a tag team match with the McMahon’s against Shawn Michaels and God. Vince said Shane will send Michaels straight to hell, but to leave God for him. Vince says there is nothing that God can do that he can’t do. McMahon then pours some water on the floor and stomps in it. Vince says he’s walking on water! Vince then takes a fish and some bread and then tosses the fish away and broke the bread, and tossed it away. Hmm. Vince then looks up and says now and the brad and fish came flying back at him! Vince then says to look at the fish, it’s a sign. Holy Mackerel! Shane then took a sip of the water and it had turned into wine as Vince left. Vince is in the back and Candice Michelle comes in and says that with McMahon being God she wants her to put his healing hands on her. McMahon puts his hand on her head, but she says lower. Vince goes down to the shoulders and then the waist. Candice then started screaming and McMahon yelled to heal this woman’s voluptuous breasts! Shane comes in and says it’s time to go and Vince didn’t look pleased. Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon vs. Shawn Michaels and God The music of Shane McMahon hit in the arena as he made his way down to the ring, and he will be teaming with his father, Vince McMahon against Shawn Michaels and God here tonight. Yep. McMahon gets on the mic and introduces us to Michaels’ tag team partner tonight, he has many times, he’s the Holy Roller, the Hipster from Heaven, the man upstairs…God! Some holy music then hit as a spotlight shone on the entrance way and made it’s way down the aisle as if God was making his entrance. McMahon yelled to stop the music and says that we’re not doing things his way; they are doing things his way. He says that’s not an entrance, and we’re doing it WWE style. Some dance music then hit as Vince started dancing around as God made his way around the ring. God is now in the ring apparently and McMahon tells the referee to go check him out. McMahon slaps the referee and tells him to go check him out, but then McMahon says to bring it, whatever he has, because tonight there is no disqualification, no count out, this match is No Holds Barred! VINCE SPEAKS ON SHANE'S DEPARTURE; BACKSTAGE REACTION
WWE held an investor conference call today to discuss the third quarter numbers which were released this morning, during which Vince McMahon acknowledged Shane's departure. Vince said he had some family notes to address, and mentioned Linda McMahon's senate hopes, and that she is no longer CEO, but is still on the board for the company. Vince then said "The other aspect of family, because some people perceive this to be a family business, but I do not. But none the less, my son Shane, as well, has decided to pursue other opportunities in the marketplace. Nonetheless, I've mentioned before that the strength of our management team, is stronger now than it has ever been. And if your last name is McMahon or not, decisions are always made on your abilities, in terms of whatever position you hold now and/or will in the future, and be judged on your performance, not because your last name is McMahon. So, I'm pretty strong on that as well. And other than that, we will entertain questions, from everyone, and I hope there would be any number of them." THE MIZ COMMENTS ON SHANE
During a recent interview Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin gave the following thoughts when asked about his first reaction to the news that Shane was leaving the company. "My first reaction – I thought maybe he wanted to do something else that wasn’t wrestling-related. Maybe he wanted to venture off on his own which I wish him the best of luck with whatever he does. I’m not sure exactly what he’s going to do but if I was a son growing up with a father as powerful as Vince McMahon, and always kind of doing what my daddy did and that kind of stuff. HISTORY: RAW - NOVEMBER 1ST, 1999
The McMahons are in the back celebrating Stephanie and Test's engagement when D-X comes and spoils the party. HHH says they will not be held responsible for what happens to Kane. D-X is in the back arguing with Vince. Kane comes in and beats on D-X. Vince says that HHH will defend his title tonight. HHH says that he hopes it is against Vince. Shane jumps on HHH. Shane says that he wants HHH tonight. Main Event: Shane McMahon vs. HHH Shane runs down and the match begins. HHH gets a spine buster. He then pounds Shane into the corner. HHH gets a big high knee. Shane comes back with a low blow. Shane goes for the bronco buster but X-pac catches him. Kane comes over and knows X-pac into the crowd. X-pac and Kane leave through the crowd. HHH and Shane go into the crowd also. HHH knocks Shane down and gets in Vince's face. Shane jumps off of the railing onto HHH. Shane gets the pedigree on HHH for a two count. HHH throws Shane out of the ring again. Road Dogg slams him. Rock comes around and he and Road Dogg go at it into the crowd. Shane climbs the ropes and Gunn hits him. Austin and Billy fight to the back. HHH get a pedigree and Austin runs back. Austin hits HHH with a can of beer. Vince comes into the ring with the belt. Vince misses HHH and hits Shane.
