WILL SHANE AND LINDA BE AT THE WWE HOF?

SHANE ATTENDS MEDIA SUMMIT IN ABU DHABI
Former WWE VP of Global Operations Shane McMahon was spotted overseas in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. at a mega-media summit headed by News Corporation where potential media investors met up to talk business. The National Newspaper published a story on the Abu Dhabi Media Summit where "top bosses and their minions from some of the world’s most recognizable media and technology companies" were gathered to talk the state of the media industry and "explore business ties that could bring them closer together." "You have to go where the money is," Shane McMahon said. The National added: "We did run into Shane McMahon, the scion of the World Wrestling Entertainment's chief executive Vince McMahon, as he wandered Yas Hotel’s halls, looking to meet decision-makers to help him develop several new media ventures." McMahon has remained tight-lipped on his business ventures after officially leaving WWE on January 1. McMahon has been linked to potential investments in MMA, but things have been quiet on the front, at least publicly, for a few months. The full article from The National can be found here. SHANE SUPPORTING LINDA AT U.S. SENATE DEBATE
Linda McMahon participated in her first public debate in the Connecticut Senate race tonight at the University of Hartford, with the one-hour debate broadcast on the local Fox affiliate. The debate focused on general political topics without any questions or debate related to McMahon's WWE background. McMahon referenced WWE during one of her closing remarks. She said rather tongue-in-cheek that she would set up a wrestling ring inside Congress and "Lay the Smackdown" if issues couldn't be resolved if she's elected Senator. Former WWE executive Shane McMahon was supporting Linda prior to the debate. Shane has kept a low-profile publicly since announcing his resignation from WWE, which was effective January 1. Linda's campaign twitter posted a photo of Shane backstage prior to Linda going on-stage for the debate. View Photo

UPDATE ON SHANE'S POST-WWE PLANS
At Pro Wrestling Insider there's an article with writer Mike Johnson answering a few questions, one is about Shane. I was just wondering that with the 1st of 2010 coming and going, if there's been any word on what Shane McMahon's been up to since leaving his post with the WWE. Thanks, keep up the good work. McMahon had a meeting with UFC and has looked into launching a production company but for the most part, has spent time enjoying his family and vacationing. He's kept very quiet on potential plans, to the point his closest friends have no real idea. Source: PWInsider.com

SHANE ON LIST OF TOP 50 WRESTLEMANIA MOMENTS
The official Wrestlemania 26 website includes a history section with details of past Wrestlemania events as well as some other features - one of these is WWE.com's top 50 moments in WrestleMania history and Shane is on the list. :) Shane goes Coast to Coast against Mr. McMahon – WrestleMania X-Seven Before running to the ring to help Stone Cold win the WWE Championship, Mr. McMahon had a match of his own against his very own son, Shane. This father and son duo put on one of the more vicious matches in recent memory. Tables, chairs and garbage cans were all used in this match, but the most memorable moment came when Shane went to the top rope. With his father hunched over in the adjacent corner, with a trash can laying in front of his face, Shane jumped from one end of the ring to the other, dropkicking the trash can into his father’s face as the crowd went wild. ERIC BISCHOFF ON THE POSSIBILITY OF SHANE WORKING FOR TNA
Eric Bischoff was recently a guest on the Live Audio Wrestling show and during the interview was asked about the possibility of Shane working for TNA against his father. Bischoff said he has a lot of respect for Shane, but doesn't expect him to call. Source: The Fight Network
