RAW RESULTS - JANUARY 26TH 2009

At the close of the show, Stephanie McMahon entered the ring, expressing her desire to speak to Randy Orton face-to-face. Accompanied by his therapist, two lawyers, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, the 2009 Royal Rumble winner made his entrance, reiterating the consequences waiting for Stephanie if she was to fire him: Two costly lawsuits being filed against WWE as well as DiBiase and Rhodes walking. The Legend Killer went even further, threatening to file an injunction to stop WrestleMania, the event at which he is guaranteed a World Title Match.

After daring Stephanie McMahon to fire him, the Raw General Manager announced that they had other plans for the arrogant third-generation competitor – even beyond the Superstars that engulfed the ring. With that, Stephanie’s brother Shane McMahon made his entrance, and attacked Orton with such ferocity that it took the entire Raw roster to restrain him, with a few Superstars taking some licks for their troubles.

SHANE MENTIONED IN LASHLEY INTERVIEW
In a recent interview on ClubWWI.com, Bobby Lashley was asked about his ECW Title feud with Vince and Shane McMahon and how stressful it was to make sure that he didn't hurt either of them in the ring.

"The thing is those two are probably, I would say, two of the toughest people in the sport right now. 'Cause when I wrestled them and had to go against them, they don't take shots. I mean, they want to brawl. Especially Shane. Shane wants to brawl. 'Grab me! Throw me across the ring, dude!' It wasn't…they didn't want you to take care of them and be all light and everything like that. They wanted to go out there and brawl. Of course, you're going to have to take care of them. I was scared the first time I had to grab Vince and hit him with my finish. I was like, Oh man. If I kill him – I'm done!""

HISTORY: SURVIVOR SERIES 2003

Ambulance Match: Shane McMahon vs Kane

View Captures | View Digitals

The match started on the outside when Shane was thrown into the steel steps by Kane. Mid-way in the match, Shane was able to hit the Leap of Faith on Kane on the Spanish announce table. Following the maneuver, Shane took control in the match, as he hit Kane with a kendo stick, rammed Kane through a security booth with an SUV. Shane then called for an ambulance. Shane maneuvered Kane onto a stretcher and started pushing it towards the ambulance, however Kane sat up and bounced Shane off. Shane was able to do a Coast-To-Coast off the roof of the ambulance on Kane. The match came to an end, when Kane hit Shane with a Tombstone Piledriver on the floor and then threw him into the ambulance, which resulted in Kane gaining the win.

Last Man Standing Match: Shane McMahon vs Kane

View Captures | View Digitals

Before the match began, Shane popped up from behind Kane, who was doing his entrance, and hit him with steel chair multiple times on the back. As the referee officially called to ring the bell to start the match, Kane pushed Shane away, to block another chair shot. After Shane got back into the ring, he jumped and hit Kane. After multiple shots with the chair, Shane dropped the chair and went after Kane's knee using the steel pole on the turnbuckle. Later during the match, Kane attempted to perform a big boot on Shane, but he moved away, and instead, it hit the referee. After back and forth action, Kane went to the outside of the ring and brought the steel steps into the ring, in attempt to Tombstone Shane, but Shane countered and reversed it into a bulldog. Later at the end of the match, Shane had Kane near the entrance area, and Shane attempted to do his signature move, the Leap of Faith, from the top of the arena Titantron. He missed, however, when Kane moved out of the way. Kane won the match when Shane did not get up from a ten count.

Hell In A Cell: Shane McMahon, Vince McMahon & Big Show vs D-Generation X

View Captures | View Digitals

In arguably one of the biggest, baddest and bloodiest Hell in a Cell Matches of all time, D-Generation X severed from their typical lime green and stained the Air Canada Centre crimson red at Unforgiven, defeating the McMahons and Big Show. To add the most outrageous, unbelievable insult to a wealth of injury, not only did DX physically decimate Mr. McMahon, but they also crammed the WWE Chairman face-first into the extreme backside crevice of the ECW World Champion.

Both Hell in a Cell veterans, Triple H and Shawn Michaels came to Toronto to wage an unforgettably brutal war in the first Handicap Match in Hell in a Cell history– also the first time an ECW Extremist competed in a match of this kind. Despite their experience, this match would be far different from any other The Game and HBK had ever experienced as the new Hell in a Cell structure debuted at Unforgiven.

As the 20-foot-tall Cell lowered around the ring, Mr. McMahon stood flanked by the Extreme Giant and was visibly eager to start the match to return months of humiliation at the hands of DX. As the Chairman told Shane McMahon earlier in the night, he had not forgiven the degenerates for their antics and Mr. McMahon grinned devilishly as he made his way into the new two-ton Hell in a Cell structure.

HISTORY: NO WAY OUT 2008

For the first time in more than a year, Big Show returned to WWE in the best shape of his career at No Way Out. The giant made his appearance after Edge retained his World Heavyweight Championship against Rey Mysterio, bullying the injured Mysterio as he left the ringside area, and then goading Floyd Mayweather – a close friend of Rey Mysterio’s – into an altercation.

After the skirmish, Big Show was calmed down by Shane McMahon, who headed off the charging giant and made sure the altercation did not escalate further. Shane and Show could be seen having a heated conversation up the ramp on the way out of the arena.
